Is it really that good? My take
The lush surroundings and amazing views create a peaceful escape. The staff is friendly. Plus, breakfast is AMAZING!
Be aware of potential maintenance issues. I encountered a rat in our treehouse room, quite unsettling and impacted our comfort significantly.

we appreciated the double room which was incredible. a safe, a minibar, and coffee/tea making facilities were there too. the hotel was in a super location, in a mangrove area. besides, it was very close to different restaurant and the mangrove/forest/beach.

The dining scene at Las Islas had me drooling over the local ceviche and fresh seafood dishes-pure bliss! The breakfast spread was a good surprise, and the service just topped it off. Plus, the staff was friendly and eager to serve, always with a smile.
A little hiccup with the jacuzzi being in a public area instead of our private balcony, and the check-out confusion was a minor buzzkill. Guess I'm just nitpicking, but having clearer ice maker instructions would've helped too!

beautiful surroundings , but minor service lapses
Privacy in the bungalow with a private pool was great. Stargazing with the telescope provided a nice experience. Wildlife encounters in the hotel park were lovely, improved with the variety of local flavors during dinner.
Some delays in service during breakfast were disappointing.

Las Islas offers a dreamy escape. The staff really go above and beyond. Our bungalow, the one with the private pool, provided a perfect spot to relax. The views were fine and the design felt intimate. Breakfast was a highlight each morning with a great variety, especially the fresh fruit and local dishes. The private island is a must-visit. Swimming there was like a fantasy. The check-in process felt chaotic. We waited a bit longer than expected, and some amenities in our room weren't functioning properly, like the jacuzzi that took ages to fill and a few broken fixtures. Restaurant prices were high compared to what you'd find in the area, and occasionally the noise from nearby activities disrupted the tranquility we were looking for.
